Ok, so I can’t embed YouTube on this site because my template is ancient and I’m in no mood to update… and honestly… I wouldn’t even if I could. Why? Because I’m not a sheep! If that’s unintelligible, well, it’s inside joke for Kathleen, who is turning fabulous plus one year today! Love you girl, happy happy birthday!
Anyhow, I will link like mad and you can’t stop me. Seriously, THIS FREAKIN SONG makes me happy. Very happy. I’ve listened to it 15 times this evening. . . make that 16 and let me check. Yep, still happy! The only down side of this whole deal is that I can’t pump my speakers any louder than they already are!
Go listen. I bet you can’t NOT dance! Everybody sing with me, “Big Girls, you are beautiful!”
I have never heard that song before–very catchy and clever.

His name is MIKA and he’s huge in Europe! I’m not sure how big he is here in the US. If you search his name on YouTube, several of his videos and tons of fan tributes come up. I especially like, “Love Today” and “Grace Kelly” and “Lollipop”. 😀
Great song- better video. Such energy and happiness! I’m up in the wee hours- restless, still getting meds out of my system, so YouTube is just the thing. Except I’m not dancing. 🙂

That’s funny… because I told Mary to take it easy and that “youtube is your friend” while she’s recovering! I’m glad you’re taking it EASY—you can dance on the inside. 😀 ~W
I didn’t dance, either, but that’s just because I’m contrary. I will admit to some foot-tapping, but that’s it.
😉

Heh… I’m betting a get a ton of comments telling me that they didn’t dance… I’m beginning to think most of my readership was born in December. 😉 ~W
It’s funny, I was thinking “big girls” as in, “grown-up girls”. It’s refreshing to see ladies in a video who are not stick skinny.

I’m just a huge fan of the “non-commercial” feel of that video. It’s fun and not slick–and at the end, it really seems like the whole group is just having fun. I don’t know… it’s a nice throw back to the early days of video. ~W
That did make me smile! I did some chair dancing–didn’t get up and dance. My little one danced next to me too. MIKA was on So You Think You Can Dance a few weeks ago. Never heard of him (them?) till then.

Him… although his bad is pretty cool too. I think he’s much bigger deal in Europe, where this kind of music still really rages. He’s doesn’t have enough of the alternative edge that most Americans want out of their rock or pop for that matter. ~W
I thought it was Sanjaya for a minute 🙂
cute song!

Bite your tongue! Heh. 😀 ~W
It’s like the less-urban and far less-objectifying “Baby Got Back.” I love it!
Except I’m irrationally bothered by the way he pronounces “lady.” Lyday.

He’s English… sorta. (Actually American and Lebanese, but raised in England.) However, I don’t get the pronunciation either, because he doesn’t say it that way IRL. Weird, eh. ~W
UPBEAT AND AWESOME!

I think so, too! ~W
Wonderfully groovy tune!

It could be my new anthem. 😀 ~W
I’m still stuck on the bag… I didn’t realize it was an Anya Hindmarch when we were talking about it the other day. Crazy story! I went to her store when I was in NY… I’ll tell you about it on Monday… remind me!
Thanks so much for the super birthday wishes, and scones, & mochas, & girls night… whew… best birthday ever!
I’m so lucky to have a good friend like you! 🙂

You’re most welcome… can’t wait to hear the story! Those bags are just so overrated! ~W
So here I am perusing the nightly offerings on my Mac, when I really should be heading off to sweet slumber land….and then I check your blog and find this fun and extremely catchy little tune (which I now cannot stop playing over and over and over…)….I’m never gonna get to sleep now….lol! I want to start singing along but Jeremiah is sleeping and I don’t think he’d appreciate my musical performance. 🙂
(Oh, and your hutch deception made me laugh…too cute! And I do, oddly enough, feel better now that I know I really didn’t miss out) 🙂

Oh, whew… I was worried! If I ever decide to part with it, I’ll let you know! And by all means, don’t wake Jeremiah!~W
You are a hip chick, indeed!

Heh… clever you. 😀 ~W
This song MADE MY DAY. Now, though, I want to feed this Mika a meal. He could use some bigness himself.

I know… he’s too thin. He puts me in mind of a young Mick Jagger, for some reason. ~W
Have you tried switching over (in the user panel) from the WYSIWYG editor to the regular one that shows the code? That’s what I have to do. That said, I think you know way more about this stuff than me. But just in case…
_____________________________________
I wish that would work, but the code ends up getting stripped and there is NOTHINGNESS posted. I tried that ages ago when Youtube first came out before it got so popular to load videos on your blog… now, I’m glad I didn’t bother. I’m beginning to feel about that like I feel about memes. Hee… ~W
That was hilarious! I love the guys tricks with his suspenders!! The girls are cute! I still don’t know that you could get me to dance in the streets in a blue tutu…Hmmm… But goodd nonetheless!!!! xxxoo

I know… I’m a LONG way from dancing in the street fully clothed, much less in a blue tutu… but, I adore that someone had the guts to do it! ~W
That was fabulous! V. refreshing! It’s about time we saw some size positive entertainment! Bravo!
