Of course, I love them even more with sharp or stinky cheese. 😀 ~W

I read about pear based vodka that sounded really interesting… and a mixed drink based on said vodka that sounded really, really good. Of course, this was while I was on the airplane and I completely forgot about it until I just saw your picture. My mind is slipping – sigh.
No, sweetie, you’re just tired. And you have every reason to be. Thanksgiving is well timed this year: I’m looking forward to our quiet holiday together.. ~W
IZ, are you talking about that vodka that they make by putting the bottle over the pear bud, and THEN the pear grows inside the bottle? isn’t that craziness??!
know what’s weird? i saw the title, and at first i thought it said CARVING, and then i saw the picture, and that totally DOES look like a wood-carved hand-painted pear. but i’m sure you weren’t craving a carving, just a pear 😛
I’ll let IZ answer about the vodka as this is the first I’ve heard about it. However that sounds interesting, what you described. I’m learning all kinds of things about pears!
And it does look like a carving. I misread signs all the time. Today, I misread a marker a bus that read: ASTORIA 10E as Astoria TOE. Heh. 😀 ~W
I love the photo, but hate pears. They are too grainy for me, and I don’t like the flavor. However, it would be hard to hold a pineapple in my hand to show my craving. (the pineapple would need to be from Hawaii of course!)
Well, ok, mmm pears in my house mean good “constitution”, in other words my little girl eats them regularly and has no constipation problems. I love the pear, so simple and such a totally needed element to our diet. AND PS you have been tagged for 8 random things about you girl:) I know its a busy time so do or don’t ? :)) Happy Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family:)
Heh… I don’t meme anymore! And I’ve been dodging that particular meme for 2 years now. However, I will tell you this one thing as it relates to pears: when I was a kid, I used to pack pears in the summer. And one summer, my boxes were so good, they went to the White House. 😀 Oh yea, let’s face it, I peaked at 17.
But thank you anyhow! And Happy Thanksgiving!! :D~W
MMm, yum, gritty and fresh!!!

That photo totally says “Grateful” to me and I’m grateful for your inspiring blog, Wende! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
I don’t actually care for pears myself…but that one is a beauty!

This one was remarkably beautiful. I just couldn’t resist the shot. 😀 ~W
Love the colors! I hear that there is good news regarding pear-shaped women, too.
You have pretty hands, Wende.
Madeleine has her sights on the dolly and furniture below. I will be stopping by your store soon.
Blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours!

After my childhood, I thought I’d never eat another pear again. However, I started craving them while Preggers with BW and now I adore them. 😀 ~W
