It’s been a long and busy day with too much to do. Somehow, in the midst of it all I managed to get my May Day Bouquets created and delivered. The roses I bought, but the lilacs are from the mammoth tree in my backyard.
i am so depressed that i live so far away. it has been a very non-festive may day.
like the new diggs…if you can say that about a virtual location.

Thank you for your stealth gifties today! But I hear you were spotted by both Hubby and Princess. She loves the pony and I love the flowers. See you in person soon, we hope!

kathryn,
I feel like a crappy friend–because I have this little gifty box I was PLANNING to send out so you would have it by May Day. But it feels like it’s missing something–so I keep looking for just the right thing, right past May Day. Bad, bad, Wende. It’s coming–I PROMISE! (However, I wish you were here too! )
Queen Bee,
I’m glad you like the flowers and Princess likes her pony. I’m afraid I’m lucky to even have delivered them today–HOLY COW I ran NON-STOP. I’m sorry there wasn’t a tag or card. I figured you would know the pony was for our Princess.
Yes, yes, let’s get together soon. Christen can’t this week on Wednesday because of her house guests–but we could? Maybe at my house? Tea? (oooh… found out today we are getting a NEW stove. Yippee skippee–no more crap pastries from me.)
OMG, Wende, those bouquets are so gorgeous. THANK YOU! for the bouquet! We missed you at knitting. Luckily no meth jokes were made.

Kat, thank you. I think this may be a platform we stick with for a while. Blogger was nice but wasn’t flexible. Pmachine… well P is for Pathetic. Mambo was great… if you wanted to run a corporate site and didn’t mind getting hacked left and right. WordPress has it all. Easy to use. Flexible. Stable. All the goodies a blogger needs without the unnecessary fluff. And I like the design Wende chose. Simple and elegant.

Toraji,
I hated missing knitting–but my meeting got pushed to 7:30 and I was the token “clergy” person for the night. I’m glad you like the flowers. Let me know where knitting is next week, m’kay? 😀
Kat: haa haa ha ha haa. You slay me.
IZ: SMOOCH SMOOCH. THANK YOU for the website fixes. I really love it all. WordPress is the Bomb and you are a god.
One of these days I’ll get off Blogger and go to WordPress. I already have it installed, but it means that I’d lose my anonymity by using it (it’s on my family website).
Here via our posts in the bachelor chronicles. You were so witty there I had to see who was behind the posts. Glad I popped in, I think I might stay a bit because we seem to have a few things in common. And these bouquets are gorgeous!

Grins: I was intoxicated while posting. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! 😀
Glad you are here… I’ll have to go read your site. Thanks for the plug.
Sheesh… does this mean the rest of you will expect CONTENT now? Great! *mumble mumble*

i so didn’t do anything for anybody today.
Well, my May Day gift to you is this site so you can share with others. 😉
Heh… you think that gets you out of flowers? Whose card do you think I used. ha ha ha haa
OK, everyone, I want those flowers returned ASAP… perhaps if we bundle them up in time, the store will never know… 🙂
iz, don’t be an april-giver. come and join us skipping around the may pole like the hooligans we are. i get the orange ribbon.
i really like your may day gift anyhow. i wish i had somebody to interpret computer-talk-stuff for me, too.

The photos are gorgeous. I didn’t do anything for May Day, even though it is Labor Day in Europe. I should have taken the day OFF!

Knitting will be at Sarah’s next week!
Soooooooooooooo pretty! I want some!
