Blurry. Which is how I feel after 6.5 hours on the road. Sadly, there was a huge accident on the I-5 southbound and I’ve just now managed to get home after leaving Seattle at noon. I have photos and stories, but I am so deeply tired that I don’t know when I’ll get to them.
This is the last weekend before school begins. . . I’m going to take a much needed break to hang with the kiddo, get a wee bit organized, and sleep before school starts on Wednesday. You all be GOOD and try not to start any freakin’ wars while I’m gone, and I’ll be back late next week. (I should link that, but you all know who you are! 😀 )
Until then, you get my narcissistic self. Because, well, I am a blogger, after all.
I so enjoyed meeting you last night, Wende. Sorry to read about your slow drive home. I-5 through Washington is pretty, but not so lovely that you’d want to spend that many hours on it.
Enjoy your last week of summer!
Glad you made it home safe. Rest up. We’ll be here when you get back.

Thank you! It was a grueling drive and I needed to sleep more than I imagined! ~W
You’re pretty when you’re blurry and when you’re not. I know your men are happy to have you home.
I neglected to mention how much I liked your blouse.

I think I’m prettier when I’m blurry. In fact, I think ALL photos of me will now be blurry. 😀 They are happy to have me home… the dog, not so much! I came home to a perfectly clean house… so very, very nice! ~W
Look at you, you pretty little thing.
Don’t worry, I am declaring an end to the Dog War. The Doggie Peace Accord will be signed later on this week!

I should hope so! And thank you… LITTLE isn’t a word I would use though. 😀 ~W
Welcome back. I hope you come back into focus soon 🙂

What? Blurry is working for me! 😀 ~W
I put two comments on this post yesterday, but they aren’t here. I felt blurry yesterday too. I pulled my car immediately into the garage, and it stayed there for the rest of the day! It was certainly fun to meet everyone; it far exceeded my expectations. It wasn’t fun to have some neighbors have a boisterous, noisy party into the wee hours with people shouting instead of talking. I was and still am tired.Enjoy your time with the fam.

I’m so glad you came and I finally had a chance to meet you! 😀 I can’t believe it’s been a week—I’ve certainly needed the down time after all that traffic! ~W
You so pretty.

Heh, my gut instinct is to to quibble with this… but instead I’ll say “Thanks!” 😀 ~W
My thoughtful and extensive comment isn’t here either. It just went on and on and on about wishing I knew you better and your wide EMOTIONAL range and great taste in restaurants and how, if Bonnie and I got shared custody of you I would never need to know your GPA, ever. Why, it was the first chapter in a book!
Oh! And it had a part about how, after you spend quality time with BW and IZ and feel like writing again we can have a discussion about the difference between art and craft, whie I stand there knitting. xoxox

I hate it when I write chapters and they get sucked into the vortex of internet! I’m sorry to have missed the comment. 😀 As for my GPA… I’d be happy with getting my diploma at this point. Still no word, and they’re now ignoring my email. ~W
You are so pretty! I hope you get some rest before the school year starts!

Thank you…I’m not photogenic and only photos I take of me look half way decent. (it’s because I photoshop! heh). I did get lots of rest and you do have a package coming to you ASAP. It should be there on Saturday! Hope the internship is working out. Email me news, girly! ~W
From the comments it sounds like you had a lovely trip, and goodness, you are pretty! Just like I imagined. I’m looking forward to being able to meet you sometime this fall. Best, and rest up! ~A 🙂

We should make a plan. I am traveling in late September, early October… but I might just find a way after that to head your direction for a day trip. 😀 ~W
I’m so glad to hear you had a fun time in Seattle despite the 6 hour drive. 😉

It was interesting! 😀 That drive, not so much. Oh my. I hate traffic like that. ~W
Ciao Bella! Realxed with boy wonder and we will eagerly wait your return.

Thank you, Sara! ~W
You look beautiful! Glad you had a good time 🙂

Thank you. I’m sorry that we didn’t get to meet—but depending where you are in the Seattle area, I might not have made it to you anyhow. PARKING LOT. I was missing the city until I had to drive home. Heh. Next trip!! ~W
Nightmare…nothing worse than getting stuck in traffic is there? Drat. I am excited to see pictures though…well, really…who isn’t? tee-hee!

It was so bad. I’ve learned my lesson to check the DOT before I leave next time! ~W
Posts like this make me so glad to have internet connection again! Oh, how I missed you and your great bits. Can’t wait to catch up on more…

I’m so glad you’re back online—I’ve missed reading your blog (and, uh, drooling over earrings and photos!). I’m thinking I’ll head to your neck of the woods in the fall sometime… once I get back from Santa Barbara… maybe we can do coffee?? 😀 ~W
