I love that little corner of our house – that’s a great photo – and I’ve certainly enjoyed the content and photos here at Evidently. So in response I say, “The Great Perfection within me honors the Great Perfection within you.”

That corner has become quite the shrine. Which, I really like. Thanks for all your support, sweetie. 😀 ~W
You have a very artistic house; I love it! I’m glad that life is going well… and blogging too.

Our house is a mishmash… but it has a few corners that I simply adore. I try to face those as often as possible, especially when I have the camera in my hand. 😀 ~W
I am so glad I came across your blog. What exactly does namaste mean?

Vicki answered you in the comment below—thank you, Vicki! I would have said much the same thing—except I’d probably have gone off on some tangent about the West co-oping culture… heh. I’m glad we each other’s blog. ~W
Kristen- literally, it means “I bow to you” but it’s a salutation that includes a gesture (your hands together, near your heart chakra, in a prayer like position), a slight bow of the head and the spoken word.
I can barely comment on those lilacs. Lilacs are everything Spring for me, but most of all, they are FREE FLOWERS FOR MOM! I gave them to my mother and my children gave them to me, by the armloads. We always and forever have had lilacs- but not this year. Not in Florida. Today I head back to Chicago and first thing, I’m going in search of lilacs to swipe. There’s no need to crush the stem because it’s the perfect rip-off flower. And God wants you to steal them. He shows us this by making those bushes bloom even more prolifically the next year. 😉
For the brief period of time I went to fancy private girls school we had to celebrate May Day. In prom-like dresses (the foofy ones with petticoats), head wreathes and a giant Maypole. It was ridiculous, being the end of an era like that. The headmistress was about 100 years old and she just lived to watch us weave around that damn Maypole. It’s probably because of May Day that I went back to public school to become a hippie. You’re right. Being a Boomer IS scary.

No, thank you for saving me from myself. I don’t mind commentors answering questions. Makes my life easier: we know I feel about working. Heh.
As for pinching lilacs… boy do I have a story for you. 😀 ~W
Hello! I just came over from the very nice comment you left on my blog (thank you!), and I’m so glad I did! I love it here. There’s a deep well of peace and thought but also a celebration of flowers and gooey chocolate brownies. Yum! Thank you, and I’m adding you to my link love list right now!

It is so lovely to make new friends isn’t it? And a little peak inside everyone’s life is fun too…(wink wink)

Oh, wait. That’s Wende’s job. Sorry, Wende. Namaste.
