Weee… I’ve been busy! A dear friend of ours, pregnant with her third baby, needed to take a trip into Portland. So… her sweeties came for an over-night stay at our house. They are such good kids! She’s going to have NO issues with having 3 kiddos because her first two are simply smashing!

As her eldest is nearly Boy Wonder’s age (and his best friend) we joked all day that I had “twins and a four year old”. So, this is what multiples look like. You can see the resemblance… right? 😀

All my photos of the boys look like these. At least one of them is blurry in each—they are in constant motion these two!

Taken last night, this photo of the darling Miss Maya is a bit blurry as well. (And yes, that’s my beat up piano in the background that we keep around because IZ won’t let me part with it.) She told me all about how she knew her ABC’s and how she likes playing in the “Toe” (snow! don’tcha know!). And she put her toys away and cleared her dishes. OMG. I love this kid!

Today, we took a little school break and made a big love banner for their mom. We decided no words just lots of wonderful pictures. It took us hours. I think we did a good job. What do you think?

When it was time to go, the boys did their usual “Hey, let’s dash outside and disappear so they won’t notice we’re missing.” That’s got to be a good sign, right? And Miss Maya presented our banner while we gathered up all the sleepover paraphernalia.

You’ll have to take my word for it that the ending was as good as the beginning as it was too dark to snap photos. Frankly, I didn’t think to do it because my friend was standing in my hallway looking like she needed to go home. Somehow, we managed to get our pesky boys into their appropriate places and off they went. But not before I got a good bye hug and a big “thank you” from my four year old for the day.

Now, I’m going to drink some tea and put myself to bed. Chasing after three kids for the day was an absolute blast. It may also be the cure for insomnia. I’ll let you know. And, oh yes I am counting my day as my work-out!
