Drug Fair

I’m pretty sure this belonged to the former owners of our house. And I have no idea why we still have it. Except, that every time I re-discover it, I can’t seem to stop laughing enough to toss it out. So, back in the drawer it goes. Don’t ask me why I think it’s funny, I’m clueless about that as well.

Do you keep stuff like that? Random things that make you laugh?

    I keep friends who keep funny stuff! Love you Wende!!

    On the other hand, I am a keeper of stuff: right now, I’m looking at a gargoyle named Chester, a 1″ x 1″ eraser that looks like a VW bug w/a surfboard on top, a pine cone, wrapper from a cigar that I smoked in Puerto Rico and a box of Messiah mints, so that I might save my breath. Oh and there’s a rock from some place that’s white and a miniature pine cone in a miniature onyx bowl. These treasures remind me of places and people.

    Lady, you are my kind of random! I have a couple of odd things that I keep for sheer amusement. My current favourite is a broken key with a purple identification tag around it. I call it my talisman since it reminds me that I’m a superhero (broke two keys off in the same lock within a matter of months…)

    What a weird thing to have on a matchbook. I would stay away from Drug Fairs, personally – I have a hard enough time with my addiction to spud nuts and elephant ears at the regular fairs…

    Steph – I also have a tin of Messiah Mints. I almost wet myself in the bookstore where I found them. The clerk didn’t find it as funny as I did.

      I think I’ll post more totally random things in the future. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one collecting those kinds of things. Most of the time, these things have meaning for me too… but every once in awhile it’s totally random.
