31/94: Misty

Day Thirty-one: we’re misty, clouded over and socked in; gray. A bit like my mood.

  • Of all the neutrals and ambivalent colours, gray is my favourite. I like to play glass half-full/empty with the spelling: gray=half-empty, grey=half-full. Course, that didn’t go so well for Jane Grey, did it… Not everyone likes to *feel* gray, though. It’s a little too Dickensian in mood-form but sometimes, a gray mood can be good for the soul – so take a good, solid wallow!

Your photograph comes across as warm despite the water and cloud.

I love to wear the color, but living in it is another matter. And I’m loving the spelling distinction, I’m totally stealing that. As for me, IZ thinks it’s battle fatigue. And I tend to agree. I suspect my body is finally hollering about all the stress that I’ve been carrying now that it’s “safe” to do so. Oy! ~W

  • I love the photo! We had a beautiful day, but I’m feeling quite gray myself. :(

It’s finally sunny here… between my week and the gray I could use a dose of sunshine. ~W

  • IZ:

PTSD. But at least we are getting through.

Hello ~ Welcome to Evidently

Your comments are like sunshine on a grey day. And do you know how much cloud cover there is here on the Coast of Oregon? A ton... so keep the sunshine coming!
