The cake is very pretty!! We had red, white and blue dessert–strawberry/blueberry cheesecake. Delicious!

Ah, we put our traditional feast on hold until Regatta. Instead, we celebrated IZ’s birthday and his sister’s early. My adorable SIL and her husband came out and there was a demand for birthday cake. I was only too happy to oblige and send a big portion of it home with them!
It was an excellent 4th! Thank you for working so hard to pull it together!
