    Favorite Things on the porch!

Brown paper packages in the mail (at the mailbox on the porch)
Fresh herbs (growing on the porch)
Boat ride (or is it the view of the summer sky from the porch)
Fresh paint (for the furniture on the porch)
The Library! (for hours of summertime reading on the porch)
Cherry Pie (for eating on the porch)
    Fresh berries (see above)
Happy smile (and a pink blouse for wearing on the porch)
Mint ice tea (for drinking on the porch while reading the library books)

My best super-speedy guesses before I go sit on the couch with the baby…(we don’t have a porch)

You’re pretty close on some of these guesses. I’ll keep you posted through-out the summer. SOOO good to see your shining “face” on Evidently. I’ve missed you. How’s the move shaping up? ~wen

  • IZ:

GREAT LIST! Lots and lots to do!

  • I love the paint color and the yummy drink. No gray skies in these photos!! Yay.

  • Bob:

Finally–summer’s arrived in Astoria. Sandals to the mailbox, plants coming up on the porch, blue skies over the Columbia River bridge, summer reading at the Library, a relaxed and happy Wende (mirror image), fresh fruit–cherries ‘n’ berries–time to bake, time to pick, summer project–paint the porch, relax with sweet tea with a sprig.

  • Oh how lovely! I’m doing several of the things on your list–blackberries, library, getting packages…I have been avoiding the mirror lately though. You’re looking really great!

I will be painting as well, albeit reluctantly.

You’re sweet, Michelle. Alas, it’s an old photo. In fact, IZ said upon seeing it, “Wait, you’re remembering a skinnier you?” Hee. Boy did I give him gas for taht! :D ~W

  • Robin Ball:

    Marion berries!
    The bridge!
Nice to see you looking happy!
Enjoy the summer, we are on the 18th straight day of rain.
Unheard of here on the prairie, God has quite a sense of humor. I have been longing for misty mornings and cloudy skies. Blessings to you my friend. :-)

Your prairie sounds like the coast!! And thank you! :D ~W

Hello ~ Welcome to Evidently

Your comments are like sunshine on a grey day. And do you know how much cloud cover there is here on the Coast of Oregon? A ton... so keep the sunshine coming!
