Just *reading* that made me feel relaxed. My simple pleasure is being able to touch toes with my partner when going to bed at night
sleeping with the windows open, especially when there is a light breeze, is one of my simple pleasures too…followed very closely by a good book
(also wanting to know the title of the book – Wende is a book tease…)
The smell of fresh lilac in the spring is definitely a simple pleasure. Ours aren’t blooming around here yet. Driving with the windows open!
Reading in the shade with birdsong all around. I could go on and on…
No lilacs here until at least late June.
