The Box Said Chocolate

I think this look works for me. Maybe I’ll start walking around with my face half covered.
After 25 years, I’m leaving the ranks of redheads and going brunette. Or, I’m trying to: the box said chocolate. I don’t know, I think it might need more brown to be CHOCOLATE. What do you think?
Update: Ok, I needed to edit that photo. Turns out the light was making it look far brassier than it is in real life. I think it’s better, no?

See, you *DO* take a stunning photograph. Helps to have a GOOD photographer. It does seem brighter in the pic than in real life -but difficult to say. My vote is to go one more round with this color first and then decide… but that’s just me.

Yeah, it’s not just you. I edited the photo a bit. Lighting here, as usual, is a beast! ~W (and thanks! Smooch)

Gorgeous! The color is rich, chocolaty with a hint of cinnamon, like mexican hot chocolate. Love the side swept look.
Very pretty!

I like it! I actually went darker sometime last year…totally on accident (because I can NOT remember what color I use from time to time) I think darker makes you look younger.
Oh…and also you look kind of like a sexy librarian.

Awesome. I was shooting for “sexy librarian.” *giggle!*. And I agree with you to a point. I do think as you age, lightening up your hair helps. Too dark and it really shows off those wrinkles. Not that I have any of THOSE!

Doesn’t matter what it’s called.
You look divine!

I’m liking it too, Margaret! I’ve been some shade of red/auburn for so long, it’s a lovely change. And, uh, pocketbook friendly.

The color is beautiful on you!

Thanks Tricia. It’s not as “different” as I wanted, but I’m thinking that might be a good thing. It kinda blends with my coloring better as my eyebrows attest. Wait, don’t look at my brows. I’m growing out a bad brow so my stylist can fix it. ~W

Super cute. But I don’t agree with that “look” on you with your face half covered. You should show your cute face.

Yowza, chili-pepper chocolate! It looks gorgeous!
I guess it’s true though, about a box of chocolate….and, um, never knowing what you might get…

I’m always late to the party! I like the chocolate-y color. To show it off better, you should comb your hair over your eyes and then put on your glasses.
