And you might want to knock off the the hallucinogenics too. Just sayin’.

SUH-WHEEEEEET picture!! And can you just validate me by putting a split-screen of you and your clone (I mean *son*) on a blog post for us. Holey smokes, you two look so much alike! Are you about 10 or 11 in this picture, too? Seriously, this picture is GOOD STUFF.

I should do a split screen… we do look a great deal alike. However, I was only 7 at the time this photo was taken. I’ve always been really tall. I look older because my brother, who is now taller than me, did not get his height until after high school. He was very petite until he was around 16, and even now, is only 5′ 10″ or 5′11″. ~W

I am totally digging your mom’s ‘do! So incredibly 70’s!

I KNOW! That’s my mom’s hair. It’s naturally curly like that… and I think it looks really cute on her. She doesn’t wear her hair like than any more. My hair is pretty curly, but nothing like hers. If it was, I’d so be sporting a curly top.

I laughed, I cried - you moved me, Bob… to set my time FORWARD…

That is awesome. I wish I had a scanner for some of my more awesome family 70s pics.

Oh, I’d love to see that!

I remembered to spring forward … this morning, when I wondered why my cable box clock and my wall clock had two different times. Then I pondered the frightening implications of the cable company being able to control a tiny little box in my home. I’m going to smash the box and move to Schenectady now.
If you don’t hear from me … you know what to do.

What a great photo–I love your mom’s hair! You and G. do look amazingly alike, even facial expressions at times.

Man, I love all the old family photos you’ve been busting out lately. Half of my clocks are changed - the the other half I’m too lazy to do. So, yes, feels like I’m trippin.

I think I need that fro. Man, what were we thinking when we thought the fashions of that time were cool!!

I’m pretty sure that’s a perennial question! We ask it every time we look back. I shudder at my photos from the early 90’s.

Wow your Dad with hair!!!! Love it. I took the photo to church to show my friends and we all had good laugh on me, now that was hair!!
Thanks for the flash back!

I think your hair is great in that photo!! Sadly, my hair is in between wavy and curly and could never sport a fro. I had this stylist once, who wore that cut. But instead of the fro being a “puff” her head was the mass of tiny ringlets. Hard to explain, but it was so great!! ~W
