Winter From My Dining Room Window

As the snow fell:
the children played games
getting from here
to where the truth was
without touching a flake

needless to say
the only ones who got there
were liars

but while the honest ones
shrank back from
the touch of snow
the liars
were where the truth was

I had to think about this one. Well, in truth, think about it and read it again and think about it some more. I tried to picture the honest ones and the liars. I tried to picture the truth. In the end I decided, in this situation, I would rather be a liar. Great post!

I would like to get from here to there without touching a FLAKE. But you already know that.

Beautiful. We could play that game with raindrops but it’s more fun with snow.

Wende, that photo blows my mind. How exquisite. I wish it would snow again.
