They are happy. It was an amazing wedding—very much about what they believe and want from life. So, it was affirming. I had a great time officiating. NO I DID NOT CRY. Woohoo! And it went off perfectly. ~W

You know, her family is so amazing–we sorta feel like we got more than a new sister–but a whole new brood. Which is wonderful.

I don’t think anyone is ever ambivalent about a wedding. You know? Fortunately, this wedding fell into the “yay Weddings” group. No drama. No mishaps. Nothing but beautiful.

Congratulations to them both! What a strong resemblance you have to your brother…

We don’t look that much like each other when standing side-by-side. But there is a family resemblance, I’m sure. One of Marie’s family friends came up to me and said, “You’re Mark’s sister, I can tell. You’re better looking than him!” I said, “I like you, you can stay!”

Once more let me say, Wende, you did an amazing job, and I did cry watching you bless your brother and Marie, words fail me. It was a wonderful day and it was so good to have all of us together. Boy Wonder did a great job as ring barer; I was extremely proud of him.
