how cute!! and i’m glad to see that the spine thingie is supported by stuff, meaning that they KNOW it’s there, and you didn’t just stumble upon some undiscovered ginourmous fossil…i mean, that would be great for the pocket and all, but not so great for like, safety, because that might mean another of those huge beasts was roaming nearby INTACT. lol.
Oh my goodness…what wonderful photos! I just sat here and sighed when I saw the beach and the ocean…I haven’t been in so very long, and the pictures are taking me there right now…

It was a wonderful day and a fantastic trip and awesome company. Too bad you didn’t also snap a picture of the sandwich! Thanks to you and G for introducing me! I think it is truly the best “deli” sandwich I’ve had out. Next time we go to Oysterville let’s park the car at the oyster shack and then walk the little community… and then you can take more lovely photos! Taking advantage of such sunny days is a good thing - I’m looking forward to more of that as the weather improves…

Heh, I thought about that as I was loading the pictures. But that sandwich is too good, and I always forget until it’s too late. ~W

What is the fourth picture? Looks like a dinosaur spine. It’s a very striking image.

Whale, I think. I didn’t read the info… so, I’m guessing. For all I know, it could be dino. ~W

Oysterville, WA. We head up the peninsula whenever we get a chance. It’s really quite lovely and feels miles and miles away from here.
