(my favorite dessert ever!) Does that make me shallow? __________________________________ <em>Uh, no. A couple weeks ago (before I swore off refined carbs) IZ and I shared a piece of that Carrot Cake, and I was only going to eat a bite. I horked down half of his cake before he could stop me. Poor guy. This time, I sipped my mocha (the only sugar I'm getting except for a weekly incentive) and didn't even take ONE bite. I wanted to. But I was afraid if I did, I'd lose all my resolve. I'm seriously thinking that while I didn't test positive for insulin resistance on the blood test, the RIGHT tests weren't done to be sure. So, I'm attempting to live like a diabetic and see if that doesn't help with some of my symptoms. Anyhow, I'd send you a piece if I thought it would get to you, Margaret. Because it is, hands down, the very best Carrot Cake I've ever had in my life. SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOD.
