Beautiful departures
I’ve been meaning to blog all week. While I’m the Queen of Procrastination, multi-tasking escapes me. Between scrambling to fill orders, homeschooling the almost 12 year old (Lord help me, it’s getting harder to lie about my age!), laundry (oh, who are we kidding), my Best of Etsy Twitter-cast each night, and my obsessive fascination with really bad Australian dramas I’m not finding time to blog. It’s not that I don’t have news, I’m just swamped. I’m also feeling just a wee bit sheepish.
Most of what has been going on this week is Mireio centered, I do feel awkward writing it all down. So instead of telling you that I found myself featured on the front page of Etsy twice yesterday and that’s meant my store being nearly sold out, I made the barista at my favorite coffee haunt listen to me crow. I’ve surpassed my goals for this holiday season; which, considering the economy stuns me! It’s been an amazing treat to find orders from some of you and I feel so completely blessed! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I’m thinking about you as I pack up boxes and ship off the last of my work to your homes. I hope you find as much joy using and giving them as I’ve found in creating.
I’m already planning Valentine’s Day and it’s shaping up to be romantic without being overly schmaltzy. But that’s another day and another post. I’m anxious to publish this now—so I’m not even going to bother to grammar check. Heather, forgive me. As some of you know, I don’t write unless I have music blaring in my ears. Tonight’s post was written with this song on repeat. 5 plays through I’m hitting publish. How’s that for multi-tasking?

I LOVE THAT SONG/VIDEO. I have to ask.. do you know where a majority of the things going on in the video are from originally?
Also, your shop. When I’m not broke and you have a vanilla mint candle kicking around I plan on getting one. One of these days…

I agree with cap -you’ve been missed. I frankly can’t wrap my brain around Twitter. I see it and I suffer from MEGO. (G and I recently learned about this from National Geographic.) Anyway -I’m really, really impressed by you and what you’ve accomplished. Way to go!

Don’t listen to the detractors. Twitter works when you are too busy to blog. I, personally, can’t survive the weekday evening without your Best of Etsy!
On the other hand, blog more. Blog while you’re watching your australian dramas, my dear. Now *that* is multi-tasking!
