It’s only a matter of time before Spring breaks through. Sixteen days to be exact. But, who’s counting?

That first photo threw me. It seems so alien. Of course after this winter, I am not sure anything that blooms will seem normal.

I know, it’s hard to believe our winter. I’m ready for it to end. But then, I’m ready for 70 degree weather and that’s not happening any time soon. These bouts of sun have been lovely, though. ~W

That is a very cool shot. Spring is far away from us since we still have several feet of snow on the ground. It will take a lot of warm weather to get all this melted. Another snow storm coming in tonight and Sat.

Oh goodness, more snow? We really only got a few mild dustings this year… nothing to talk about. Not that it stopped me from blogging about it.

me. I’m counting.
But,,, I’m also enjoying some seriously good weather. So I’m counting but not complaining.

Oh, lucky you. Right about now the weather is getting really lovely in Marin. I don’t really miss it, except in the Spring and when I wish jasmine would grow here.

The top shot looks like the plantie is grasping its head, reconsidereding participating in the blooming process…

Oh, I love peonies! Spring is a mixed season for me, especially this year. It’s very stressful at school, I have my baby graduating and I look around at the TONS of yard work I need to be doing. Flowers and growing things make me happy though. (except weeds!)

I surveyed the damage to the yard, and boy do I have my work cut out for me. Sadly, this winter killed a ton of my plants, including both of my peonies. S i g h. It’s still a bit too cold be outside doing much work. But, soon! ~W
