I’m living vicariously and I’m not afraid to bribe the boy with cupcakes for his appearance here.

I’m going to start walking twice a day because of the dang ol’ eastery yumminess that seems to be seeping in all around. Because unlike you… I am not saying no like i should.

Still a week until cupcakes are going live here.

Nooooooooo! No baking. I miss it, but right now, it’s in everyone’s best interest if I don’t. ~W

Oh man you’re killing me! My son just looked over my shoulder and saw those pictures so now he too has cupcakes on his mind. Don’t feel bad, I do deserve a cupcake today.

Those rosy cheeks….what an adorable boy you have!
Only….as far as he knows, I said “handsome”. Yes, handsome is a much more “manly” word! ;)

Oh, thank you. And yes, you’re right about the languaging. He was a bit bothered by the “little” tag he got when he was featured at Modish. Hee… ~W

OH no…you’re not torturing yourself with baked goods are you?! Yesterday carrot cake, today cupcakes (tomorrow the world?) I mean, I know the boy is obviously enjoying them…look away look away…resist the power of the cupcake (leave me here…go on without me…gasp choke…big bite…mmmmm)

You know, it’s not bothering me all that much. I didn’t want anything yesterday when we all went out for a treat. (I drank a coffee that was so sweet I only finished half, and I didn’t even order a large!!) Of course, the place we went to has substandard baked goods at best. I’ve never had anything there that was stellar. Our favorite bakery was closed so there was no carrot cake temptation.

I miss bread, though. With a vengeance. ~W

Very handsome, especially with the nonpareils on his face.

re: above, i’m no baker. i do TRY, though. heh.

since you’re so smart (duh), do you know of any way to get muffins baked on Monday to not be rock hard by Thursday?
i make (boxed…) chocolate chocolate chip muffins every monday for my boyfriend (because he, erm, has 2 for breakfast daily with a dr. pepper…), but i have yet to figure out how to keep them from getting all dried out :( advice, oh wise one?

Well, as nothing lasts that long in our house… uh, no. My mom used to put a piece of white bread in with baked goods to keep them moist. I hear that works!! ~W
