I've been working with girls at church for three years, and it was amazing to watch them make that transformation... Ha, as for freaking out... honestly? They look and sound delicious. When the girls were much younger, I was on a Friendship bread kick and made different varieties of it every weekend. I laugh at how horrified they are at the very mention of Friendship Bread. (a friend called up to see if I wanted a starter and Alison just about had a heart attack!) ______________________________________ <em>Seriously!! Wow, because they were so popular in all the bakeries we used to visit in Seattle during the 90's. Hmmm... As for Friendship Bread... The only problem is that I fear they are SOOOO tasty they might lead to uncontrolled binges and we all know that muffins, by there nature, are never "low fat"... ;-) Still, they make an excellent alternative to scones. They also don't dry out as quickly so I don't feel the pressure to consume them all at once. Though don't get me wrong... I'm usually QUITE content to consume them all at once. But then we get back to my battle of the bulge. OY! As for G-- I expect he's only just entering a growth spurt... suddenly I'm feeling a bit more grey... ______________________________________ <em>They were a real hit.
