It was! We had a blast… even if we were poorly prepared. :D ~W

  • Very spooky looking costume. Did you do the makeup?

I did! I put his costume together after much grief. We finally found an image of what he wanted and I recreated the look for him. :D ~W

  • Ghoulish!

    Indeed!! ~W

  • Awesome! That costume is seriously creepy

Thank you. He was seriously creepy. He got into character and actually glided when he walked. Freaked people out downtown. They stopped and took photos and gave him so much candy for the performance. He lives to get into character. :D ~W

  • Who would have thought such a cute kid could look so creepy! Great make up job.

Thank you! Would you believe people still thought he was a girl? Poor kid! He’s pretty. :D ~W

  • Wow! The costume looks amazing…he was quite ghoulish!

Oh, Sadie, you would have loved him. I wish I had thought to actually video him. I should have had him make a Halloween Video for the blog. He was downright scary. There is a photo up there of him freaking out this one woman… he quietly followed her for a few yards, and she turned and jumped. And then she laughed. She loved it. It was amazing. ~W

  • I love the pics, and what an interesting take on a spy (just kidding :D )

  • IZ:

I love that pic of the woman looking at G as he’s walking toward her… she just doesn’t seem to know what to do with him as he approaches…

What the pics don’t capture is his “glide” – he literally looked like he was floating… that was soooo cool.

Good job on the makeup though – that was fantastic!

He frightened her. She jumped back and then laughed. A guy passing by (he’s in the background of the photo) laughed and loved it. :D ~W

  • That costume is ghoulishly ingenious! I love face paint.

Thank you! He had a lot of fun freaking people out. Apparently, while trick-or-treating with his father, he told people, “Thank you, you have only 7 days to live.” ~W

  • pam:

Crikey, was that Boy Wonder? He looks like an Edward Gorey illustration. I’m filled with admiration.

Oh, thank you! He does look a bit gothic, eh? I could just kick myself for not videoing him! ~W

  • Cap:

I’m stealing this idea for next year. Just so you know. He looks so tormented … fantastic!

Well, he tormented the people who gave him candy. I guess, he told people they only had 7 days to live after they gave him the loot. JOY! ~W

  • love love love!! :) (and yeah, he totally looks like a girl in that cakeface..but a dead, scary girl!!)… :P

Yeah, he does tend toward the girly side in the face. Always has. Poor kid. ~W
