They made me dinner and dessert! It was all very good. I ate too much of it, of course! ~W

They were relatively well behaved. MY child was rambunctious. But he’s not used to sharing his Dad so it’s a learning process. The joys and learning curve of being an only child. ~W

He is taller. I can’t keep him in clothes! He’s no fan of highwaters either. And that would be his best friend on the planet. They’re such good friends. And I have to say, of all the kids my kid has picked as friends through the years–this kid rocks.

Ah… making the escape… yes! Some day in a big open kitchen with some grandkids around (real or “adopted”) – with a lovely view of the Pacific, a great bottle of wine, and your company… couldn’t happen too soon…
