He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him again.
I said, “Yes, yes, yes!”
The day dawned brightly; sunlight streaming through every window. The sun has found its way back into my world, and I find myself warm again.
All is not lost, after all.
And there it was… shining brightly… waiting, willing to be found. It is just a token, but I’m glad it is back where it belongs… with you!

Oh, I do so hope you find it. What a shame to lose something so special. ~W
Oh thank goodness. You should probably tell us where you found it so we can look in the place next time something is lost.

OK, so get this: IZ found them on the floorboard of our car, right on the edge of the door. He said they were about to fall out when he noticed them! HOLY COW. I have NO memory of ever taking them off in the car. NONE. I think it’s clear I’m losing my mind. ~W
YAY!! The ring is back. And the sun is shining. Good news all around.

That sun was amazing. ~W
Oh Wende – I’m so happy for you!
And those rings are GORGEOUS. Are they family pieces? Or estate pieces?
_____________________________________
They are neither. They were made specifically for me 19 years ago. They are die struck rings—so the molds they were made on (they pound the metal into the die) are from the late 1800’s, which makes them look older. The center stone is IZ’s birthstone. 😀 ~W
yah! So happy you found your rings.
Everything must feel right now 🙂

my sweetie attended SPU too.
it looks beautiful…we’ll have to walk around campus sometime, now that we live so close.

Oh, go!! I love this time of year on campus, because everything is in bloom. And SPU has always had a very dedicated grounds department. (Most of my friends worked there when we were in school… it’s think with religion majors, apparently!) It was a bit wet when we went, but we got a bit of a break and it was amazing. I MISS that school. ~W
<3
oh YAY!! i’m so happy for you! both! 🙂
(i’ve been with my boy for 6 years. i fear if he ever gave me a ring, and i lost them, he’d think twice about reasking, considering himself lucky ;P)
