Sated

I can’t help it, I love a man who knows I crave carbs of the chocolate variety at a certain time of the month and then thinks ahead to have those carbs on hand. A man who then bakes those chocolate carbs into yummy pastry carbs at just the right moment, without my asking. And a man who makes sure my stash of gourmet chocolate tea is replenished just in time and then brews up a pot to drink with his yummy pastry carbs. And because he’s shooting for sainthood; a man who walks my dog late at night and sends me to bed with a heating pad and my cravings sated.

You are one pampered chick, my friend. And you deserve it, too. Hey, how’s our Sophie girl doing?

Sophie is so-so. Her fever is gone, but her eyes are still problematic. She still has a ways to go with the eye meds, so we shall see. And, Happy Anniversary, YOU!~W

Yes…I was wondering about the little pooch myself.

And do I hear correctly that there is such a thing as ‘chocolate TEA?’ Oh my lanta. I need to find me some of that goodness.

Oh my goodness, I love it. It’s Tea Vitale, and we order it from Amazon, instead of the actual store, because they sell it in three-packs and I get free shipping.  We drink the Creme Chocolate, but the other flavors are amazing too. :D ~W

There are many yoga poses for a certain time of the month but they may lack the sukha that comes with husbands and chocolate.

Yum, chocolate. I have no more “time of the month, ” so no excuse for my sweet tooth.

My husband patiently listens to me moan and groan about bloatiness, cramps and my sore boobs… and then lets me lie around as much as I want until it’s all over. He gets food for me, runs the errands, pays the bills and generally leaves me be without complaining that I’m not ‘doing my share.’ It’s the week before it all begins that he can’t stand – the “don’t touch me” and general bitchiness that precedes the whole mess. Poor guy… but what a sweetheart!
