Nope, I sat at a very frustrating meeting. I know that I am building character by all these work tribulations, but really…MUST I? I am already a pretty good person.

Oh, that is too bad!  It was grey all day here until around 6 pm. . . which prompted a quick dash outside to find flowers for a photograph.  You are already a GREAT person… I say, play hooky next time. :D ~W

I have found my last day of winter to be absolutely insane. No, that doesn’t even begin to quantify it. You can imagine my delight then to see this lovely post. Thank you.

Um, this is shaping up to be a trend. S i g h. I’m antsy. :D You know how I said no travel, blah, blah, blah. We should consider looking at TN… maybe Knoxville? ~W

    Beautiful flowers. What are they?

They are daffodils.  Only, instead of being a single bloom, they are doubles. :D ~W

Those daffodils are beautiful! Helps to look at them after having only a few minutes of actual sunshine on this first day of spring!

Have you been down 101 just past Warrenton? The Pioneer church has their annual daffodil buds cross on their lawn. A sight to see!

Heh… nice try.  Hey, I know, you have that fourth baby girl, and I’ll come out for the baby shower! :D ~W

I so miss my daffodils- I nearly wept to see these beauties! In Ann Arbor I planted 100 each year for 12 years plus they had their own babies- you do the math! This past fall I planted about 200 in Chicago and I hear a rumor from my neighbor that they are coming up. Will they still be there when I get back the 1st of May?

Happy Spring and a blessed Passiontide, Wende! Tis the season of rebirth!

That’s a lot of daffodils.  I don’t remember to put in bulbs until it’s time for them to be sprouting and then I think, “hmm… should have planted a few last fall!”  Here’s to a Daffodil May! ~W

Well, our first day of spring was pretty Northwesty. Rainy. :) Today is sunny and the little bulbs are poking their little heads out, but a lot of them came out too early and are now little dead heads. Poop! Oh well. I’m anxious to see what grows in our yard since this is the first spring we’re here. Someone else will be enjoying my crocuses and hyacinths in Vancouver! Another poop. I plan to buy a lot of color this year, tho. We’ll find out what grows in WI! :)

I was pleasantly surprised last spring to discover our back yard had a magnificent lilac tree.  So… always a good thing to wait and see what comes up on its own! ~W

Such a serene shot of beautiful flowers. My first day of spring was anything but serene, but your gorgeous photo is at least helping to soothe my mind a bit!
