I love your kitty! We have two dark calicos like yours, and one of them, Frida, is med/long haired like Snickers…and that tail! I actually think Frida’s tail is bushier, but they are close!

She’s really hard to photograph, her coloring is difficult to capture well. Most of the time she comes off as a black blob, but in real life, she’s actually very pretty. And very personable. I’ve never had a cat be so social, it’s kinda fun! ~W

And because I was a little nervous that she might not be loved by her new owner (I mean, she is a mouse, some people have anxiety over all things “varmint”.) That’s actually the best shot of Snickers I’ve seen. And that is a lovely corner. Having coffee or tea there when the sun is just rising is a special treat.

I love that spot in the house best, I think. (Those chairs need to be restrung, though!) As for Snickers, it’s just so rare to get a good photo of her. I’m glad to have at least one… she’s so tricky to catch. ~W

Thank you! I didn’t even think about calling any of my neighbors. I got a phone call in the middle of it all, and when I came back to it the boys had already walked in. . . At that point, I was just too tired to even contemplate trying to fix it! But next time I know where to turn! :D ~W

Miss Snickers is so pretty! She looks just like my childhood cat… You share a small glimpse into your home with the pictures you post, and when I puzzle them together, I am jealous of anyone living in Astoria, and so, so envious of your beautifully decorated home! It looks so cozy and charming…
