I think this is a very interesting shot of the night sky. The moon is there - but hidden behind the storm clouds. There’s just something “other worldly” about this photo to me…

IZ iz right. (oh, tee, hee) Seriously, this is a stunning photo- not that I’m any great authority but it’s SO black and white even though you took it in color? It is other worldly- but then you have that stark and striking addition of power lines. You might title it, “What a piece of work, is man.” Anyway, I like it a lot. We were watching the moon last night, too- here on the east coast the full moon coincided with the lowest tides of the year, which we also observed when we took a walk to the bay.

heh… it was taken in color. And in the middle of the night when I should have been sleeping but was instead standing in the middle of our street aiming a camera at the sky. Near enough got run over by some crazy driver buzzing down the road at 2 am.
I’m getting the impression it’s nice where you live. S i g h. ~W
It reminds me of something ancient, and then there are the power lines, and they make it really cool–things changing and staying the same and all that.

It looks stormy. I hope your weather has been behaving better. Ours is off and on.

I love the tea cup!
C’mon, don’t love the squishy feeling your socks get after a two minute walk in rain?
