We met Death in the woods yesterday.

He said to say, “Hello.”

Of all the “talking tombstones” it seems to me Death’s job is rather cushy. Guess it’s good to be the Grim Reaper…

The new layout is indeed lovely.
And I totally agree with IZ…I mean, did that guy draw the long straw or what? Every other goober and goblin is out there haunting and spooking…and he just has to ‘walk creepily and point occasionally.’

Yeah, I’m guessing he’s the president of the Historical society… perks??
And thanks for the compliment. Most people are clicking over via bloglines and have NO idea what’s lurking in my sidebar on the front page.

Hee…I couldn’t help myself. I’m attempting to be sufficiently spooky for the next three days. How am I doing??

Heh… I loved seeing him. He was up on a hill and I didn’t have my zoom lens with me… but he kept motioning me closer… so I was able to get a closer shot. However, the shots at a distance are kinda ominous…

Tell Death to come tell me hello to my face, the pansy.
Love the new layout!

And I’ll let him know you send warm regards back when I see him next year. Heh! And what… no digs about my patron saint??

He was actually quite friendly!

I think I glimpsed the ghost of Luther today! It was a cute little thing who popped out of my mailbox! I’m so spooked that I shall go listen to the soothing Dresden Amen in Mendelssohn’s Reformation Symphony.

HELLO??? Ewww.. I don’t want a greeting from the Grim Reaper. Eek!!

So, that would be a “No”, then, to being added to his Christmas Card list?

I almost cried when I realized that I missed Talking Tombstones this year ~ waaaa….
Love your new “look”. Really nice. The cuppa joe’s perfect…

Oh, I know that pain! We missed it last year because we left it to the last minute and then went to the wrong cemetery. It was clear, but really cold. The pumpkin patch was probably a better choice! ~W
