I am also sad that my girls are drifting away from their grade school, junior high, high school friends. It's hard to watch, but very normal. They were in the same class at school, and we lived right across the street from each other. They were incredible together - completely the same "speed," and they even looked alike! (right down to their wire-rimmed glasses!) He'd invite her to his birthday party, only for her to find out that she was the only one invited (wink, wink). They went to amusements parks together and miniature golfing. It was crazy how in-sync they were, and how they never tired of being in each other's company. They drifted apart after he moved, but she stills talks about him from time to time. None of my other kids have had relationships like that, but it was very interesting to observe with my 11yr old. _____________________________________________ <em>You know, some kids are just intense. It's nice to know he's not the only one with those experiences.
