Congratulations! Is it just a trick of the changing light, or does the backyard seem brighter without the shed? We demolished an old rotting deck this year and weirdly the whole backyard seems brighter. I don’t know how, but it definitely does. Can’t wait to see what this looks like when the new lilacs go in!

Well, two years ago I had a view - the laurel is just too massive for me to contend with. The storm really did the shed in - glad to get rid of it. I’m looking forward to what comes next back there…

Oh, that shed. What a mess. So, yes, I’m relieved to have it GONE. I’ll be even happier when we put in the meditation area planned for the area.

You should definitely take the opportunity to plant more lilacs, considering there is a big gaping hole in your back yard.
(heh. seriously, though, the landscaping will come together and the lilacs you saved are gorgeous!)
