Coffee with friends is a nice concept. Of course, it helps to be invited. You can have coffee with me! I’ll make one of my patented Mexican mochas with real spices, real chocolate, and real love…

Oh, I couldn’t have gone even if invited. Coffee is a big lure, I’ll admit… especially there. But…nah. I’d much rather hang with YOU! Your mochas are way better and I don’t have to worry about the repercussions! ~W

Ha! I just explained the meaning of the word last week to Sage, in the context of explaining how we would go to the beach when the hotels weren’t crowded… :-)

:D  OOh… the beach is always more fun in the off season.  I’ll trade the warm weather for less people any day! ~W

I play hooky (sort of) all during gymnastics season. I neglect the house, school, my projects. But it’s also fun to have that excuse to just get away! Good advice.

I am working toward counting hooky as the time I actually do something productive. Yes, that’s what I want. Yesirree. Nice picture by the way.

Thank you. The photo which was taken at my favorite coffee house here in Astoria called Coffee Girl.  S i g h–it’s where I’d should have been playing hooky if I didn’t have a previous engagement yesterday! Can I just say, I hate committee work!  And I’m LOVING that idea. :D ~W

Hmmm. In my vain imaginings I though you were reading my blog as often as I read yours. On your suggestion of foregoing personal invites over and over, after the initial invites I posted at three spots on the local forums and NCO. I regret if offense was taken where none was intended. I regret that you wouldn’t have shown even if invited. And, finally, I regret if you post the digs but not the response.
