I live by the philosophy that if you aren’t learning, you are dead. This is *such* a great photo of the “joy” found in doing something new. Thanks for sharing it!
I’m still mastering the old tricks. I haven’t worked up to “fetch” yet (actually, I refuse. But don’t tell my mother. She thinks I’m trying). I’m still working on “sit” and “stay.” I am pretty good at “shake-a-paw” though I’m liable to pee myself with excitement when strangers come around. I think after this comment, I will “play dead” for a while.

heh… this made me giggle. I suppose we’re all still working on old tricks, really. ~W
Oh, that looks like some sand my feet should be on! What a sweet picture of your fuzzy girl. I learn new tricks every day. Since I can barely remember yesterday, every day is a learning event! tee hee Have you seen the birthday card that says something like “we’ll be friends even when we’re old.” then on the inside it says “but then we’ll be new friends”. That always cracks me up. That will be me. Every day will be something TOTALLY new!

Good eyes! We went out to Cape Disappointment State Park yesterday afternoon and evening… followed by a drive up to see Oysterville. We just needed to get out and enjoy the sunshine after all this rain. ~W
I did, on Saturday, before the weekend got tangled up…I bought a straw mat and started learning how to felt. I do believe before long I’ll be making slippers or catbeds or hats…I’ll post about it sometime soon. I enjoy coming here for Sunday Sermons, Wende.
That is a very sweet doggie picture. Very.

Very sweet! Can’t wait to take the dogs to the beach again. It’s just been too cold here on the east coast! Happy Monday.

We’ve been drenched for weeks now. Yesterday’s full day of Sun was a bit of shock, really. We went out early in the day thinking rain was on its way—only to find that the sun stayed. ~W

You can’t teach this old “dog” too many new tricks. I’m just trying to make it through the day!

One of my favorite daily tricks is Downward Facing Dog: Adho Mukha Shvanasana!

I just worry that if I get into that position, I might not ever get out of it. Heh. I know, I know: Yoga is the bomb. I’ll work on it!
