Helen Keller’s quotations are precious to me. One of my favorites:
“I can see, and that is why I can be happy, in what you call the dark, but which to me is golden. I can see a God-made world, not a man-made world.”

It was a Helen Keller quotation that convinced me to move to Astoria: “Life is a grand adventure, or nothing at all.” I wear it on a silver bracelet that IZ bought for me. I’d seen the bracelet in Astoria when we were considering the move and the quotation pushed me over the edge. IZ went back later and purchased the bracelet and then surprised me with it on our anniversary. ~W
