IZ: “Those belong to your mother.”
Boy Wonder: “Whew! For a moment there, you had me worried.”
I’m not sure which is worse: that I’ve been ruled unfashionable by the 10 year old, or that his feet are large enough he can confuse my shoes for his.

Flynn’s Keens are his favorite summer shoes. He swears by them. Happy walking - your feet will be happy!

Well, these will hold me over until I have a chance to get into the big city. I’ll need to find something for the fall/rainy weather, but these are working great right now!

It’s a little frightening when our kids start to grow as big as the parents. My 10-year-old has a ways to go before he can confuse anything (shoes, clothing, etc.) with mine … thankfully. Although I would never ever tell him that he wears an old shirt of mine that shrunk in the dryer. (I tried to get him to wear a pair of my ankle-cut white socks one day, but he refused.)

I think I’m just going to go about the neighborhood squealing, “It’s you!” about shoes and hair and yogis and all of these wonderful attributes that define my friends. Excellent choice on the shoes. I didn’t weigh in on those either, because, like PRODUCT, I try to avoid them at all costs. And when I must it’s either glorified flip flops from Merrill, summer sandals from ECCO or party shoes from Taryn Rose. So, I had nothing much to offer. And you did fine. They’re you, Wende!
Soon, he’ll be taller than you, too. Too soon. I checked the TG store- you have lots of lovely items in there. The bright orange bit of crochet is ahem, a tad, ah, odd but I see my favorite pale yellow pitcher is there. What big piece of furniture arrived? I would like more pictures of the place, please, because every glimpse I get I think about what a lovely home you make for IZ, BW and yourself. And the dog. And the cat.

Aiyiyi! I was so flustered to snap photos of the piece of furniture for my office. It never left the truck. S i g h. It’s going to be some time before I have my disaterpiece of a space shaped up. But I’ll do a post when I get there!

They’re really comfortable. I’m still hurting after a work-out–but because my feet ache, but because I’m seriously out of shape! Working on fixing that.

I’ve avoided having children up to this point because I don’t know if my self-esteem can take it! When I think of how I trashed my parents’ clothing, shoes, and hair… everything, I wonder how they ever dealt with me. I’m sure I’ll get some pretty harsh payback some day - that’s how it tends to go, right? The shoes are super cute, and they do look lovely on that porch of yours, The color is brilliant!

See, I’m not in love with the color! They had a style in red, but the cut of it didn’t fit my foot properly. So, I opted for comfort. S i g h.

OH…I am glad you got those…I love my Keens so much (I have 4 pairs, including some Mary Jane’s) I also have a red pair…but, I do like the blue! Plus, when you’re hiking, it’s nice to have a bit of extra something covering your toes…

Our little store only had two styles to choose from in these sandals. I’m not a blue person, but comfort, you know? They’re just exercise in this summer… and they seem to be paying off! ~W
