As for Sophie on the table – she figures what’s good for the cat is good for her, right? Who cares if she takes up THE WHOLE table. *sigh*. I think the animals have won.

I have recently been introduced to the world of cats (it seems to be the single woman pet, so all my friends have one), and I never realized how sassy cats are. What’s even more surprising is that I really like the sassiness! I might even say I’m becoming a ‘cat person’. (I hate to steal Snickers’ spotlight, but Sophie on the table is precious…she really is addicted to sunlight, isn’t she?)

That sassiness is all fine and good until it’s after midnight and you’re hunting around in the dark. And, the more I have Sophie, the more of a dog person I’m becoming. That photo of Sophie just kills me. I came down one morning to find her perched there. So, of course I snapped a photo before I scolded her! ~W

horrible beasts…those cats! luckily, mine always come when called, first your friends look at you like you’re crazy, but then…here comes a little kitty…Well, at least sometimes!

A woman up the street has a cat that walks with her when she walks her dog at night. And, darn if that cat doesn’t obey! The only training we’ve ever succeeded in doing with a cat is training it come to “oops.” However, late at night the appeal of the outdoors wins over treats with Snickers. So much for training! ~W

It’s all just a matter of training, right?! LOL! Actually, my cats come to a whistle. They know if they don’t, they’re outside all night (or all day while I’m at work). Of course, the older one knows that if she’s outside at night, she’ll usually be let back in if she jumps up on our bedroom window screen; the younger one hasn’t figured that out yet. And, yes, both of them have figured out how to open the sliding screen door. It’s actually kind of entertaining watching the younger one, so sometimes I just leave it cracked a little bit and watch her rolling around, trying to wedge her little body into it. Mean, aren’t I? Well, you know what they say about payback!

We have two cats – Maya and Lola. Sometimes you’d think Maya was a bird, the way she nests up into my daughter’s very curly hair while she’s sleeping at night!

What an adorable torty! But I know what you mean about delusional cats. We had one once, and it drove me bananas! He was sneaky, too, always finding ways to slip out when you weren’t looking. ARGH! (So did the cat come in?) ~A

Brat cat! What a pill. Moving forward, she’ll just have to endure “lock-down” procedures… and kitty gets a collar and tag this weekend… with a bell… whether she likes it or not.
