Who would have thought Chocolate Ice Cream and Chocolate Stout Ale would be a good couple. But, it might just be my new go-to drink to pair with burgers.
Hilarious! Hubby just chastized me for drinking a root beer float with chocolate ice cream. Said it was weird. I can’t wait to tell him about the beer float! Brilliant! ~A 🙂

It was more of a shake than a float–but the concept is definitely similar. In fact, I’ve seen the beer float thing before–this was a first with the shake. ~W
Yea, I also want to know which brewpub?? I don’t care for chocolate drinks, so I probably wouldn’t like it, but I could definitely go for a Hefeweizen! 🙂 I think my honey would like that, tho. By the way, I am planning a trip to Bill’s pub in Cannon Beach (they have this incredible summer brew~Blackberry Beauty) while I’m there, would you like to join me??!! 🙂

We went to Wet Dog. I hear the new place is amazing… Monica raves about it. But, we’re creatures of comfort I’m afraid and that place is alway so busy. Usually, when we’re going out for a burger it’s because we’re ravenous and want to eat NOW. 😀 And I’d love to join you in Cannon Beach! Sounds like fun. 😀 ~W
I’m hitting my forehead with the heel of my hand… why didn’t I think of that? This sounds fabulous! Barry is gonna love you for this post.

Well, in all fairness… I didn’t come up with this! My favorite brew pub did. And, my-oh-my. 😀 ~W
I want some.

I know! Me too!! ~W
I would probably like that.

I don’t even like beer–won’t drink the stuff. But these are great. I suspect you’d love them. 😀 ~W
Ben and Jerry’s makes a Black and Tan ice cream that is quite tasty too.

Oh, Ben and Jerry’s. Enough said. 😀 ~W
Hmmm. I’m not so sure. Jury’s out on that one…

It does sound a bit weird. I was pleasantly surprised. ~W
This concoction does not support a yogic lifestyle!

M. Mochas, yes. Two, even three. This brew? Ah, not so much. But then I don’t mix peanut butter and jelly either- each is superb alone.

You’re certifiable. Not mixing peanut butter and jelly. ~W
It sounds like a genius marriage to me… which brew pub? It looks like a fun concoction to make my summer houseguests try! 😀

We went to Wet Dog. Have you tried the new place? In the Fort George building? I hear it’s amazing. ~W

I don’t drink beer usually, so this was a surprise for me. ~W
I’ve never been to either place actually… some exploration is due! 🙂

Indeed. I hear the food is fabu at the Fort George. Wet Dog has great beer and burgers. I wouldn’t eat much else there, tho! ~W
