Our world is in a dark space and this event is such a stark reminder. The Creator gave us so much beauty and so much potential to bring beauty into the world… this is so sad. So sad that someone felt this was their only path… my prayers are going out to all effected and involved. I agree with you Wen: Virginia – may the Universe cover you in peace indeed.

It’s almost too much to endure—I really can’t imagine. ~W
I don’t know how to respond. I don’t know how to even think about this atrocity. I don’t know how to assimilate what happened and look at my children galloping around my living room. I refuse to watch the TV, choosing to filter my information through the word on the computer screen to shut out moving images that look human, that suggest humanity, that reflect the truth of what happened. And then I think of the parents and the teachers and the students and the campus and I can’t think of it anymore.
I can only imagine that those directly affected wish that they couldn’t think of it anymore. The heartbreak they will now bear is incomprehensible.

It’s too much. I find it all so very sad. I think about how carefree college is supposed to be, and how for those students who survived, that’s not the case any more. I can’t begin to fathom the devastation felt by those who must now endure life without their loved one. I can not imagine the misery the shooter’s parents must feel—the enormity is overwhelming. ~W
I’m like HG up there…I can’t watch the news about it. It makes it all too real and too emotionally hard to deal with. I just read about it off of the computer.

I hate to be cynical, but it is not the end…I am hoping that some good can come out of this. Some wisdom. But right now, I’ve got nothing.

It sucks that evil can live in this wonderful place we call home. Praying is all we can do. 🙂

I also meant to say…
That is the most beautiful photograph of a flower I have ever seen!
